October 16, 1947.
A fragment of memory kept repeating in Nick Hazard's neural circuits - a lab, a description, a
man in a suit... and himself, but not as a machine. Ghosts from before activation. Error 47.
When a data trace appeared in an old archive marked PROJECT HAZARD, Nick knew he had
to see it for himself. ECHO warned him it was risky - time travel wasn't supposed to be possible.
But the file was real, and the questions wouldn't let go.
In the hidden lab beneath his 2189 office, Nick powered up the experimental temporal gateway.
The coordinates locked on 1947. The destination: New York. Whatever happened there...

It started with him.

Nick returned to 2189 the same way he always did - a flash of light, a rush of time, and the familiar
silence of his office.
The city outside moved on, unaware of the journey he had just made.
But something was different.
A small package sat on the floor by his office door.

 The Creation Of Nick Hazard

 

It was about 45 years ago, when I was playing music and writing stories in Wolf Creek Oregon, that I came up with the Nick Hazard Character. He started out as a music theme song about a private eye in the year 2025, which at that time 2025 seemed way in the future. As it is now 2026 it doesn't seem that it was that far off in the future. I wanted to continue the story using all of the tools that AI had to offer, including music, videos and images. I got the idea of Nick Hazard being a robot from the resent news activity about robots soon taking over many tasks and jobs in the near future. 

 Nick Hazard is a hybred Cyber Bot who was created by a detective/scientist that uploaded all of his memories and brain functions to the now Cyber Bot Nick Hazard. Having the thoughts of a human but built to be an indestructible cyber bot, Nick draws on his human life's experiences as he strives to solve cases that only a private eye of his caliber could.
